What is BIM

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a process of preparing, using, and sharing 3D modeling through digital technology that contains multiple pieces of information; which may be utilized by all parties to a project, in attaining objectives throughout the implementation of the project.

Why The Need For BIM

  • Every design can be visualisd in 3D form
  • It reduces cost, enhances quality and quickens construction project delivery time
  • BIM has been observed to assist the contractor and developer evade extra cost and time that can occur during construction duration and post project completion; simultaneously making the industry more efficient, effective, flexible and innovative whilst enhancing national productivity.
  • A construction simulation can be made for the purpose of verifying construction schedule.
