What is the Skills Standard Development Program?
This program is formed to develop skill standards for construction trade, with focus to the Malaysian construction industry.
What is the foundation of this program?
The development of this program is based on the Construction Industry Skill Standard (CISS) or National Occupational Skill Standard (NOSS).
Why is this program important?
This program is consistent with the National Vocational Training Council. The NOSS is a document that outlines the qualities that a foreign expertise who works in Malaysia should have for any field and working level.
How are CISS / NOSS used?
CISS / NOSS is a reference document for developing training module for training skills and as a benchmark for leveling quality construction personnel for construction trade.
