The National E-Tendering Imperative (NeTI) is a national initiative that integrates and bridges every process and component of the entire construction tendering supply chain onto an electronic or digital medium in the hope that it can then transcend geographical, time, economical and people-based error and inefficiency barriers, making it faster, more efficient and more profitable for all the players in the industry.

The value of the practice is maximized when service delivery is designed around what the industry wants to do. The creation of this platform will revolutionize and transform the way the tendering process is run and managed resulting in new and improved paradigms of value, processing and profitability.

There is no doubt that Malaysia has entered the knowledge economy where the traditional ways of working has been transformed into a more effective mode reflecting the global movement of developed countries. The main purpose is to highlight that there are significant sectors which needs to be modernized against ineffective delivery in the new economy.
