Definition of QLASSIC
- An independent method to assess and evaluate the
quality of workmanship of building projects based
on the approved standard.
- A system which enables the quality of workmanship
to be objectively compared via a sampling and statistical
approach.
Objectives of QLASSIC
- To benchmark the level of quality in the construction
industry.
- To have a standard quality assessment system for
quality of workmanship of construction work.
- To assess quality of workmanship of a building project
based on the approved standard.
- To evaluate the performance of contractors based
on quality of workmanship; and
- To compile data for statistical analysis.
Objectives of the seminar
- To swap experiences among contractors and developers
on the quality of construction’s workmanship
- To give a better understanding on the importance
of QLASSIC and its role on contractors’ performance.
- To deliver a clearer view on current construction
issues on quality workmanship
